Feeling stuck at a crossroads with CMMI? This virtual edition of the CMMI Institute certified courses will provide you with in-depth understanding of CMMI V2.0, knowledge on how to use CMMI for improving performance and participating in CMMI-based improvement programs and give you the tools needed for a successful appraisal.
We offer four classes over the course of a week as stand-alone, and/or bundled options.
- CMMI V2.0 Upgrade – August 22 (if you’ve taken CMMI v1.3 training in the past)
- Foundations of Capability – August 23-24 (required)
- Building DEV Excellence – August 25 (must take this, or SVC Excellence)
- Building SVC Excellence – August 26 (must take this or DEV Excellence)
Have you already taken the CMMI V1.3 training? If so, you are eligible for taking the CMMI V2.0 Upgrade Class!
If you are brand new to CMMI, you will need to take Foundations of Capability and one of the Building Excellence classes. We offer both Building Development Excellence and Building Services Excellence. Take one, or both, to become a CMMI V2.0 Associate.
These classes will thrill you with a detailed overview of the new CMMI V2.0 model architecture, practice areas & practices, and the new CMMI V2.0 Appraisal Method. Content is presented in the form of games, exercises and passionate lectures. Not only will you understand — you’ll retain your knowledge in this high-speed learning environment.

How do I register for the class?
How will I access the class?
You will receive an invitation from our instructor with a Zoom GOV link prior to the class. You will need a laptop or a tablet, with a reliable internet connection, camera and microphone.
When will I receive the materials?
Access to the CMMI model is granted approximately 24-48 hours prior to the start of the class. We will also email you several supplemental materials (PDFs and word documents) that will be used in the class.
Do I have to be on camera?
Due to CMMI Institute guidelines, cameras and microphones need to be on during the course of the class. If it is impossible to do that, please let us know in advance.
I’m a Project Manager. Can I earn PDUs?
Yes! You can earn up to 8 PDUs per day of class. Your end of class certification will serve as proof if you get audited.
What is your refund policy?
Cancellation within seven days or less of the class will result in no refund of registration fees.
Do you offer any discounts?
Early bird discounts are available for seats purchased 30 days prior to the start of class.
Do you offer any private classes?
Yes! If you can meet the minimum of 10 students, please consider reaching out for a private class.
